We’re seeking a technically adept and data-driven Website Developer & SEO Strategist to join a growth-focused, digital marketing team. This role sits at the intersection of website development (WordPress), SEO strategy and data analytics, placing you at the heart of our inbound marketing efforts. You’ll own improvements to site performance, user experience, and organic visibility, all powered by data insights and SEO best practices.

The Difference You’ll Make

  • Develop, maintain and optimize WordPress sites to deliver fast, secure, seamless, and high-performing user experience across all devices.
  • Implement on-page and technical SEO strategies to improve search engine visibility, search rankings and organic traffic.
  • Set up, monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, Looker and Excel. Derive actionable insights to drive continuous data-driven improvements in engagement, conversions and growth.
  • Translate technical and performance data into actionable strategies that improve user engagement, content effectiveness, and conversion rates.
  • Play a central role in shaping the technical foundation of our digital presence and driving measurable results through continuous optimization.

A Typical Day

  • Attend a daily remote standup and sprint planning to stay aligned with priorities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to roll out website updates, campaigns, promotions, UX enhancements, and improved content flows and messaging on the website.
  • Ensure all inbound leads are engaged via automated systems within 15 minutes.
  • Conduct keyword research (Ahrefs, SEMrush, SimilarWeb), write optimized metadata, audit site health with tools like Screaming Frog, and fix issues such as broken links or slow pages.
  • Run A/B creative tests and analyze results using marketing analytics tools.
  • Monitor KPIs (traffic, bounce rate, conversion rates) in GA4 and GSC, build reports, and present insights.
  • Continuously test, troubleshoot, and refine both website performance and SEO tactics to stay ahead of evolving search engine algorithms and user behavior.
  • Create presentations or ad-hoc analyses in Excel or Looker to share results or proposed changes with team or stakeholders.
  • Contribute to documentation and playbooks to improve team velocity and learning.
  • Dedicate time to professional learning via YouTube, podcasts, online courses, or assigned research.
  • Stay current on SEO trends, algorithm changes and WordPress best practices to keep our site competitive and secure.

Your Expertise

  • Proven experience building and maintaining WordPress sites with custom themes and plugins. Strong command of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with PHP. You ensure websites are responsive, fast, accessible, and secure, applying best practices in UX and responsive design.
  • Solid foundation in keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO, with over 2 years of experience. Proficient with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, SimilarWeb, and Screaming Frog for metadata optimization and site audits. Demonstrable passion for staying ahead of SEO trends.
  • Proficient in GA4, Google Search Console, Looker (or similar dashboards), and Excel. Experienced in tracking and translating SEO and performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions) into actionable insights to optimize content, UX and inbound marketing effectiveness.. Knowledgeable in SQL; hold Google certifications (Analytics, Ads).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communicator with the ability to clearly explain technical insights and collaborate effectively across teams. Keen attention to detail, and commitment to continuous learning in web, SEO, and analytics technologies.
  • Experienced in remote and distributed teams, with strong documentation and self-motivation habits. Native-level English fluency with exceptional communication skills and brand voice adaptation. Highly curious, self-driven, and passionate about creative experimentation and delivering measurable impact.
